drawtoday:

Our atoms came from stardust. When we die perhaps our atoms will become new stars again, a million years or so from now. The form changes: human, tree, water, star. The atoms do not disappear.
In this sense, our bodies live forever.

Brian Swimme tells us that we are the conscious form of the stars, so that the stars may gaze at their own beauty.

This raw song based on my poem: Remember when you were a star? Also, maybe I should re-title the blog to SING TODAY NOT TOMORROW. :))

(I have to re-record the song to reflect how I changed the a few lines.)

“MADE OF STARDUST”

Do our bodies really die, disappearing?
They say it’s just the soul, that lives forever
Don’t you know the body lives forever too?
Don’t you know the body lives forever?
Atoms change, and rearrange, become another
And my body remembers, it remembers
Don’t you know your body lives forever too?
Don’t you know your body lives forever?
When I see the stars, I remember
When I hold your hand, I remember
Yes I tingle, and I ache, and I sing
And I dance, oh dance, dance, oh dance,
With my body made of stardust and wanderlust
With my body made of stardust and wanderlust
I remember, I am here, now, always
I remember, you are here, now, always
Now, always
Now, always
Now, always
Remember when you were a star?
